How We Got Started

"Hey, you wrestled, wanna go box in the park?"

Coach Matt and Coach Logan were training on their own, meeting weekly to spar and push each other. That hunger for more structure led them to Reign Training Center and in 2010, that was exactly where you wanted to be. Reign was a legitimate hotbed for MMA, and training there meant being surrounded by serious competitors who were figuring out the sport at the highest level. It sharpened everything.

Then injuries stopped them both cold. Recognizing the challenges they faced in their own recoveries, Matt and Logan pursued certifications through the National Academy of Sports Medicine to better understand strength and conditioning on a more systematic level. That journey led them to transition into personal training, where they applied their newfound knowledge to not only overcome their own setbacks but also help others achieve their fitness goals. Coaching and empowering individuals to reach their potential became their passion and that's what ultimately gave birth to Stronyx Performance.

Matt brings over 20 years of training experience, the mindset and work ethic of a champion, and the responsibility and empathy of a coach into every part of Stronyx Performance.

Matt has spent years inside competitive environments where discipline, teamwork, and consistency are required. He has trained alongside some of the best athletes in the world, learning firsthand what separates short-term intensity from lasting progress.

His years of training, coaching, and cornering athletes taught him that progress is built through structure, standards, and repeated effort. One lesson he teaches every athlete is simple: focus on what you can control, and stay grateful for every opportunity to get better.

Matt’s mission is simple: help people simplify consistency, enjoy the process, and build the confidence to know their best days are still in front of them.

Logan understands the quiet panic of realizing your body isn't cooperating anymore, because he's lived it. He's spent years helping professional athletes optimize their performance through precise strength, conditioning, and nutrition protocols.  

But it was his own injuries that taught him the most valuable lesson: elite training principles mean nothing if they can't survive real life. After being forced to rebuild from scratch multiple times, Logan discovered that the same systematic approach that keeps professional athletes performing at their peak could be adapted for people juggling work, family, and the unpredictable challenges of everyday life.  

The difference? Professional athletes have teams of specialists and controlled environments. Regular people need systems that bend without breaking. Logan specializes in taking the proven methods that work at the highest levels of sport and making them bulletproof for busy schedules, unexpected setbacks, and the demands of normal life. He helps people who are tired of starting over finally build something that lasts, turning complex performance science into simple habits that actually stick when life gets messy.
